Public drop in events - summer 2016
Local people had the opportunity to have their say on our proposals to remove a section of National Grid’s transmission line in the Snowdonia National Park.
In summer 2016, National Grid held public events for the local community to find out more about the project. Around 100 members of the public attended events in Penrhyndeudraeth including local councillors and community councillors.
Members of the project team were on hand to share information and talk about possible options for enhancing the landscape by removing a section of National Grid’s existing transmission line near Penrhyndeudraeth.
